As the newly crowned king of the compact truck market, the 2015 Chevrolet Colorado and subsequently its diesel variant is one of the best diesels out on the market today. Thanks to great handling and an interior worthy of Chevrolet’s best, it’s no wonder that thousands of people have been flocking to the Colorado. Just last September, GM managed to move over 7,334 units.
For those that have driven the Colorado, they’ve praised the quiet ride and more than controlled handling. While the suspension setup might be on the firm side, it’s not too harsh to be considered an annoyance. According to Edmunds, they easily preferred the Colorado when it came to overall balance of a compact truck.
As for the exterior, like most midsize trucks the front end looks plenty aggressive with angled headlights and a faux skid plate as a front bumper. Inside is where the Colorado wins. Attractive with high-quality materials pretty much sums it up. If you choose crew cab models, there’s seating for five with many reporting that seats are spacious even in the rear for adults.
In terms of vehicles that do it all, none can come close to the Colorado.
