Acura confirmed pricing for the 2017 Acura NSX. Will start out at an MSRP of $156,000.

With every bit of new news about the new Acura NSX coming straight from Honda HQ means that this halo car is that much more closer to finally landing in dealerships. Earlier Friday, Acura went ahead and dropped final pricing on the 2017 Acura NSX and with a base price of $156,000, it’s got the likes of the new Porsche 911 Turbo, Audi R8 and the Ferrari 488 GTB aimed squarely in its crosshairs. Additionally, it looks like the first serial production number NSX will be auctioned off to charity.

If you want to option out your 2017 Acura NSX with all the options, that’ll set you back $205,700. With eight different exterior colors and four interior colors to choose from, Acura is making the customization process as simple as possible. Outside you’ll have your choice of three wheel designs including  carbon-ceramic brake options, a carbon fiber interior sport package, carbon fiber roof, and more.

"“The NSX is the pinnacle expression of Acura precision crafted performance and we’re thrilled to take the next step toward bringing it to market,” said Jon Ikeda, vice president and general manager of the Acura Division. “We’re creating new space within the supercar realm, pushing the envelope beyond the conventional thinking about supercars – just like the original NSX.”"

Acura was keen to point out that the entire Acura NSX project was an American endeavor. That means all design, development and manufacturing took place majorly in the United States.

Customers who have a strong interest in purchasing one can start the ordering process as early as February 25, 2016 which also happens to be the same day they launch their configurator.
