McLaren P1 GTR To Make Appearance At San Jose Cars & Croissants

The Bay Area’s certified authority on all things McLaren, @Bayareanady, announced there’ll be a McLaren P1 GTR headed to San Jose Cars and Croissants this weekend, December 26, 2015.
If you’re a gearhead, live somewhat near Northern California and have nothing to do the day after Christmas, you’ll definitely want to head out to San Jose Cars and Croissants. According to @Bayareanady off of Instagram and the event organizer, in attendance at this particular Cars and Croissants event will be a McLaren P1 GTR, two standard McLaren P1’s, a LaFerrari, a Porsche 918 and an Enzo Ferrari. Not to mention all the other supercars that end up showing up at this hotbed of disposable income meets car enthusiast hangout. Check out his official Instagram post below!
According to one commenter, this particular McLaren P1 GTR is owned by retired American race car driver and car dealer, Bruce Canepa who now owns and runs Canepa Motorsports based out of Santa Cruz.

At $3.6 million a piece, the McLaren P1 GTR is a veritable one-off expensive track beast. That additional $2.45 million over the standard P1 gets you a 986 HP (84 more than the regular P1.)
