The reason why I’ve owned a lot of vehicles in a short period of time is because, they were all used.  I don’t believe in having car payments.  It’s tough for me to keep a car longer than three years, so why not find enjoyable vehicles of the past without the payments?  Mazda 2’s with relatively low mileage can be found for less than $10,000.  The B-Spec kit from Mazda can be had for less than $3,000.  While that may seem like a lot to some, in truth, it isn’t.  The kit comes with Bilstein shocks, springs, spacers, front and rear roll bars, stainless steel brake lines, an air filter, and a non-street-legal catback exhaust.  I wouldn’t install the exhaust, but the suspension and brake parts alone are well over $3,000 for other common vehicles.
