Mercedes has revealed its 2016 livery for this upcoming Formula 1 season in the F1 W07 Hybrid.

It’s not like Mercedes hasn’t been teasing their fans with first a bit of testing on Friday and a quasi-unveil via artist earlier in the week. But according to MotorSport on their official report earlier Sunday morning, it looks like Mercedes has taken the wraps off its F1 W07 Hybrid and they aim to win. Check out some of the official photos below via social media.

We also posted up an exclusive photo of what the powerplant looks like. From this point on, the W06 Hybrid is long gone and so begins a new era with the W07 Hybrid which has some big shoes to fill. Both the W05 and W06 have racked up an impressive 36 pole positions and 32 wins in 38 Grand Prix’s in just two years.

Piloting both cars will be returning champ Lewis Hamilton and the King without a crown, Nico Rosberg.

As with almost all unveils from other race teams for 2016, Mercedes reiterated that constant improvement is what they’re aiming for. According to Technical Executive Director Paddy Lowe,

"After a highly successful season all round in 2015, our priority has been to identify the areas in which we were weakest and to try to improve on those. Our objective is excellence in all areas and, while we had some fantastic results last year, there are many areas in which we can still be much better.”"

You’d better believe that Scuderia Ferrari will be gunning for podiums with Williams close behind as well.
