#36- Dodge Viper Epically Crashes Out Of The Nurburgring.

The Nurburgring is over 14-miles long with communication between track officials and drivers increasing to a crescendo during a race. With a host of flags, slow zones, and drivers at all sorts of levels, it can get pretty confusing on the racetrack.

This Dodge Viper found that out the hard way when he appears to enter a corner way to fast and skids out of control. First, his Dodge Viper jumps off the curb with one of his rear wheels losing traction. To overcorrect, the driver tries to steer in the opposite direction but one of the other wheels also has no traction. Add to the fact that he’s carrying too much speed and the inevitable happens.

The Dodge Viper slams into a guard rail side first and comes to an immediate standstill. Unfortunately, his Dodge Viper remains intact which means much of the energy of the impact was transmitted to the driver. You can see the passenger holding her neck in a clear indication of whiplash.

Racing on any racetrack is serious business and shouldn’t be taken lightly. This video is good evidence for the need for helmets and the proper restraints during any exhibition of speed.
