Jamie Foxx Gives His Bugatti Veyron A Gold Wrap
Jamie Foxx has given his Bugatti Veyron a gold wrap. Can he pull it off? We aren’t fans of cars that are coated, painted, dipped, embedded or wrapped with gold, by the way.
It’s hard to pull off a car which has been given a gold wrap. No pun intended there. But the very idea of giving a car a chrome or gold wrap is dangerously close to being someone who is in desperate need of attention. So it baffles us to see Hollywood leading man Jamie Foxx resorting to giving his Bugatti Veyron a gold wrap.
Jamie Foxx’s Veryron came with a blue and black two-tone paint job in its original form. Maybe he found the color scheme to be too understated and bland for his tastes. So he went ahead and gave the hypercar a full-on gold wrap treatment.
And the work is pretty much comprehensive, with the only area that was spared from getting covered in the gold shade being the signature horseshoe grille of the Bugatti. Thankfully it got to keep its chrome finish. The rest of the car, and that includes all those wheels, got covered by the gold wrap.
It’s a bit too much, we’d say. But Jamie Foxx seems to be happy about the new look that his Bugatti Veyron is sporting. He has even gone ahead and shared the news with his fans on Instagram.

Let’s be very blunt here. Jamie Foxx could’ve opted for anything else but a gold wrap if he was getting bored with his Bugatti Veyron.
The update also urges followers to tune in to the actor’s all-new TV game show, Beat Shazam. The game show which has Jamie Foxx as the anchor and executive producer made its premiere on Fox in late May.
Beat Shazam, if you eager to know more is about identifying songs with a prize money attached to each round. Upon reaching the higher levels, contestants will be pitted against the Shazam app, which as far as we know will be where things get really challenging and tricky.

If this is Foxx’s plan to get some more viewers interested in the new show, it’s certainly working. Back to his work in movies, the actor will be back in theaters soon with the upcoming release of Edgar Wright’s Baby Driver. Now that’s one of our must-watch movies of the year.
