2018 BMW M5 Presented At Need For Speed Payback GamesCom Event
The 2018 BMW M5 is coming to duke it out with its rivals. The sports sedan has also made a smashing debut in EA’s Need for Speed Payback video game.
Carmakers have always loved the video games industry, especially those titles which revolve around racing and driving simulation. Forza, Crew, GranTurismo and Need for Speed have always featured magnificent cars in all their glory and made these machines accessible to the general populace in the virtual gaming world format.
Manufacturers are also using highly-anticipated games as the platform to showcase their new cars. Porsche did the same with the latest 911 GT2 RS, which was presented at the at the launch of the Forza Motorsport 7 video game. It’s also the cover car for the game title.
Events like E3, GamesCom and CES are being preferred these days by car manufacturers to unveil their new machines, as those events are frequented by young and enthusiastic crowds who can go on to spread the word sooner and more effectively than any million-dollar marketing campaign.

Following the same route is BMW with the 2018 M5 which has made a cracking debut in the latest GamesCom trailer for the upcoming Need for Speed Payback. The 2018 BMW M5 was also in limelight when EA (Electronic Arts) and BMW jointly presented the car at the 2017 GamesCom gaming conference in Cologne, Germany.

Need for Speed video game series has featured BMW cars since 1997, including that iconic BMW M3 in 2005’s Need for Speed: Most Wanted.
