Donkey Tries To Eat An Orange McLaren 650S Spider In Germany!
In the donkey’s defense, he may have confused the orange McLaren 650S Spider for a healthy carrot meal. At $6,800 a plate, that’s one expensive fine dining choice though.
When I woke up today morning and reached for the day’s first dose of news updates, this is what the senses were treated to. A donkey in Germany tried to eat a high-performance supercar! Okay, I’m used to that kind of stuff in movies. If Grimlock has an appetite for police cruisers in Transformers: The Last Knight, maybe a donkey in Germany can gorge on a car. But the donkey in question chose an most expensive dish – a McLaren 650S Spider.
There are reports on BBC News and The Associated Press on the bizarre incident. Apparently, the McLaren 650 S Spider was parked next to the enclosure where the donkey lives. (I guess we should stop calling him “donkey” and use the name given by the owners.) So, Vitus found the bright orange supercar to be ripe enough for a snack, if not a full meal and went about chewing on the car’s rear.

Markus Zahn who owns the McLaren 650S Spider wasn’t a big fan of Vitus’ cuisine selection and filed a case against the owners.
While the owners tried to defend with the stand that Vitus may have confused the car for a carrot (for real!) and that Zahn shouldn’t have parked so close to the enclosure, the court in Giessen slapped a penalty of $6,800 on them.
Vitus’ love for exquisite McLaren cuisine ended up consuming some paint and carbon-fiber from the back of the car. I never knew that the combination is a delicacy preferred by animals in select parts of the world.

And Markus, next time, please do pick a parking spot which isn’t too convenient for animals with peculiar food habits to reach out and take a bite off your supercar.
