Gran Turismo Sport adds a collection of cool cars.

If you are like me and don’t game much, this is probably the only video game news you look out for. Additionally, if you are really cheap like me, you are really looking out for the free updates.
Well, I have both for you today. A free update with more cars, tracks, and events. This update is available now for PlayStation users now. My favorite part of the update are some cool classic cars. When the game was first released, the main criticism was the lack of cars, which is something I have experienced. The cars that are there now are wonderfully sculpted, Gran Turismo just didn’t have enough.
This update will alleviate the lack of cars with 12 new cars, 2 more tracks, and more single player events. These updates are great for keeping the game alive for people who don’t have the ability or are unwilling to game online with the subscription.
Andy, you’ve been holding out, what cars are new?
That’s a great question. Here they are, I especially am liking the 1972 A110.
- 1972 Alpine A110 1600S
- 2017 Alpine A110 Premiere Edition
- 2007 Audi R8 4.2 FSI
- 1971 De Tomaso Pantera
- 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T
- 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1
- Gran Turismo F1500T-A (fictional 80’s Formula 1 car)
- 2011 Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4
- 2016 Subaru WRX STI Isle of Man Time Attack Car
- 2017 Subaru Falken BRZ
- 1988 Toyota Supra 3.0GT Turbo
- 1997 Toyota MR2 GT-S GT-S
My favorite part of the game is racing classic cars. Right now I am whomping in a bone stock C3 Corvette. I look forward to driving the A110 and the 80’s Formula 1 car, who doesn’t love those.
More tracks and events too!
Monza has been added to the Circuit Experience and the Blue Moon Speedway has more layouts added. I have not done the Circuit Experience so cannot comment on that. Blue Moon Speedway is the Gran Turismo fantasy oval track that is always way too frustrating for me to actually do well on.
Next: Honda: 25 million cars have now been made in the U.S.
Overall this should be a very fun update and I hope there are much more to come!
