He drove in NASCAR for more than 30-years and won seven-races in 128-starts but Foyt dominated IndyCar like very few before or since.

Foyt’s IndyCar trophy case includes:

Four time Indy 500 winner (1961, 1964, 1967,1977)
Seven time IndyCar Series champion (1960,1961,1963,1964,1967,1975,1979)
67 race victories

Let’s get down to brass tacks, Foyt is probably the greatest IndyCar driver in history. Scott Dixon is close but Foyt is still the man.
