When considering Nissan SUVs, most people first think of the Pathfinder. This makes sense, as it’s a pretty legendary vehicle. However, the 2024 Nissan Rogue is actually a really good SUV for those who want a smaller option. It belongs in the category of the best small SUVs because it delivers solid performance, has a great interior, and it’s safe. Because of this, the Rouge is much more than the Pathfinder‘s little sibling. Of course, the 2023 Nissan Rogue is also a solid option.

The 2024 Nissan Rogue is one of the best small SUVs for performance despite not being the fastest. According to Nissan, this model uses a turbocharged 1.5-liter inline-three engine with a maximum output of 201 horsepower and a torque of 225 lb-ft. It has all-wheel and front-wheel drive configurations and uses an automatic transmission.

The 2024 Nissan Rogue is also a pretty solid SUV when it comes to speed. Most road tests say it accelerates from 0 to 60 miles per hour in about 8.4 seconds. However, at least one says it takes below 8 seconds. This is easily one of the best small SUVs for fuel economy. It averages 30 miles per gallon in the city and 37 MPG on the highway. One of the things that makes the 2024 Nissan Rogue one of the best small SUVs is its interior. This is the case because it’s a spacious option for its class. With seating for five people, there is more than enough room for people to spread out. Regarding interior materials, the SUV has premium cloth on the base trims but also has options for leather. The base trim has a six-way manual adjustable driver seat, while all the others have an eight-way power adjustable seat.

This is also a solid SUV for interior technology. The S and SV trims use an eight-inch touchscreen display, while the SL and Platinum trims each have a 12-inch HD color display. Of course, the system works with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and has a solid sound system. The Platinum trim has a premium Bose system with 10 speakers. For people who don’t want the newest thing, the 2023 Nissan Rogue is similar in this regard.

Because the two are similar, the 2024 model should eventually get the same distinction.
