With only 40 McLaren P1 GTR’s set for production, this photo album showcases a third of all McLaren P1 GTR’s ever built.

McLaren dropped a bit of a Monday booster for the motoring world. Earlier Monday, McLaren gave us a sneak peak at what they call their “Workshop of Wonders” built exclusively for the McLaren P1 GTR. With the heavy price tag of $3.1 million, McLaren isn’t exactly going to shoo you out of their showroom floor once you take ownership. It’s called the McLaren P1 GTR Driver Programme and with every purchase of a P1 GTR, this exclusive owners experience comes with it. It’s called the McLaren P1 GTR Driver Programme and with every purchase of a P1 GTR, this exclusive owners experience comes with it. If you’d like, McLaren will keep each car for you in their private facility and when need be, you can call on McLaren to ship your car with over 80 tons of support equipment to a race circuit of your choice. Check out some of the exclusive photos below and if you’d like to check out the press release for yourself, click here.

As you can see from the photos, each McLaren P1 GTR is given a bespoke paint scheme or livery. No two McLaren P1 GTR’s are built exactly the same. As far as the owners experience goes, each owner is outfitted with their own personal racing suit and helmet. You get to spend time with a personal fitness trainer, drivers coach (Bruno Senna…yes that Senna) and get access to simulator training via the McLaren Technology Center. This is the same center that Formula one aces Jenson Button and Fernando Alonso train in when they’re preparing for races.

Suffice to say, McLaren is ensuring that you’re up to the task of piloting a machine that’s capable of blasts to 150 MPH at Australia’s Red Bull Ring.

Just as a reminder, the McLaren P1 GTR is powered by a twin-turbo 3.8 liter V8 that pumps out a generous 789 HP that’s supplemented by an e-motor that adds an additional 197 HP for a total of 986 HP.
