Central London is home to some of the best designer clothes, poshest real estates and according to a report by GT Spirit they dropped earlier today (June. 6, 2015) headquarters to some of the world’s battiest drivers as this Lamborghini Aventador happened to hit 100 MPH down a Central London street. In the video, YouTube user 458MRP knows something is about to go down because he can hear the rips of a Larini Exhaust echoing from the building walls all around him. And he’d better hear that Aventador coming because seconds into the video, a streak of matte black fly across the screen and out of sight. See the video below for yourself!
By some estimates, that Lamborghini Aventador was going at least 100 MPH based on being in third gear when the Aventador flew by. According to the Guardian, the speed limit for all cars is a measly 20 MPH. Hardly enough speed to get a lumbering super car out of first gear. Now you can see why some supercars have an all electric mode that can be engaged to putter around city streets. We can assume that a maximum fine of €2,500 (or about $2800.) as well as penalty points including possible revocation of your license would result if the driver was ever caught.

The Lamborghini Aventador is a car not reserved for tight city streets. Ironically, that’s where you’ll find most of them anyways, especially in Europe. from its 6.5 liter V12, the Lamborghini Aventador can blast to 60 MPH in 2.9 seconds and hit a reported top speed of 217 MPH. But best keep those speeds well outside any city limit. Better yet, keep it on the racetrack. And if you where wondering a basic Larini Exhaust system cost about $2,500.
