James Bond’s Aston Martin DB10 Does 0-60 In 3.2 Seconds
By Paulo Acoba
“Magnificient isn’t she. 0-60 in 3.2 seconds. A few little tricks up her sleeve.”
A new James Bond trailer hit the web earlier yesterday (July 22, 2015) and once again, its got all the Bond fans chomping at the bit to see Daniel Craig’s return to the big screen in Spectre. Gearheads caught a couple more beauty shots of James Bond’s Aston Martin DB10 being revealed to Bond for the first time as well as some performance specs thanks to Q (and a rear flamethrower? Well done Q.) Supposedly James Bond can accelerate to 60 MPH in 3.2 seconds in the DB10…well in the film at least. In addition, we also caught some chase scene footage of Bond trying to shake Mr. Hinx played by former MMA fighter David Bautista in his Jaguar C-X75. Check out the exclusive trailer below.

Earlier in April, we caught an exclusive video of both supercars, the Aston Martin DB10 and the Jaguar C-X75 racing around the streets of Rome. We also learned that in total, Aston Martin is building 8 models for the film, one hero car and seven stunt cars to be destroyed and jumped in various fashions. The engines used in real life come from the Aston Martin V8 Vantage (420 HP/350 lb-ft.)That’s just enough power to push the DB10 throughout the film and give a sense of speed against the Jaguar C-X75.
If Q’s 0-60 time is to be believed and the DB10 is meant to showcase what Aston Martin’s will be in the future, the DB10 slots performance wise in between the 750 HP Aston Martin One-77 and the 800 HP Aston Martin Vulcan. The One-77 blasts to 60 MPH in 3.5 seconds and the Vulcan can do it in 2.9 seconds. Just some food for thought.
