Caitlyn Jenner’s 1974 Porsche 914 Is Up For Sale

This Porsche 914 was once owned by Caitlyn Jenner herself and can be had for a very low price.
It’s not everyday that you get the chance to own a car previously owned by one of the world’s biggest pop icons but today might be your lucky day. According to our good friends over at Celebrity Car Blogs on their report earlier yesterday (Oct. 30, 2015) the current owner of Caitlyn Jenner’s 1974 Porsche 914 has listed it up on eBay for $5,000. Including Caitlyn, this will be owner number four and he’s looking for a fifth owner.
As it sits, there are a few rust spots here and there, the Porsche doesn’t actually run as it seems the owner never actually tried to restore it, and all in all it’s due for a major restoration. But according to the owner, it is very much restorable.

As proof of Caitlyn (then called Bruce) Jenner having actually owned the Porsche, there is plenty of documentation in the form of dealership receipts as well as a manufacturers warranty that lists Caitlyn as the owner.
Back in 2009, journalist Barbra Terry sat down with Caitlyn to get an idea of what Caitlyn was like during his gold medal run and what it was like leading up to his Olympic career. In the interview, Caitlyn recalls the Porsche 918 quite fondly.
"I got $6,000 from the Adidas deal. I now have $6,000. I’m thinking, I get $170 a month and I only spend $400. So I bought this brand-new 914 Porsche, the only new car I’d ever bought, for $5600.I didn’t like the color. The color was green, but it was the only one they had in the 1.8. I couldn’t afford the 2.0. I took and got some white pin-striping and I put it along the sides just to break it up. My payments were $98, and I’m thinking, how am I going to pay that?"
Ever since that first Porsche 914, Caitlyn has somewhat stayed loyal to the Porsche marquee by buying the first Porsche turbo, the 1976 Porsche 930 and currently a 2011 Porsche 911 GT3 RS.
