This year we bid adieu to the 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution and say hello to the AWD Dodge Challenger.

If you stopped for a second reading that title and pondered if Dodge ever made a Challenger in AWD configuration, now they do. Earlier yesterday (Nov. 3, 2015) Dodge shocked the world by unveilings its full lineup for 2015 SEMA which includes this one of a kind Dodge Challenger with power going to all four wheels. Check out all the juicy photos of this real life working concept below.

Aggressive, bold and more muscular is exactly what Dodge designers were going for when they mocked up possible ideas on how to best showcase this Challenger’s extra set of drivetrain wheels. Around all four corners you’ll notice a set of wider flared arches accentuated by a front and rear chin splitter. Out back, quad tail pipes announce the Challenger’s arrival with satin black accents on the fuel filler door as well as a bespoke trunk badge.

Inside you’ll find header orange accents on the stitching and your bum will appreciate what Dodge is calling Katzkin leather with taupe suede inserts. The regular steering wheel has been replaced with a flat bottom steering wheel to aid in performance.

And speaking of performance, Dodge hasn’t left the engine untouched as they’ve thrown on their Scat Pack 3 Performance kit which boost performance by 75 HP and 44 lb-ft of torque.

"The Scat Pack 3 Performance Kit maximizes gains achieved by the Scat Pack 1 and Scat Pack 2 kits by adding new Mopar Performance CNC-ported cylinder heads, Mopar hi-flow manifolds and hi-flow catalysts, a gasket set, exhaust manifolds, exhaust adapter, mounting brackets, hardware and two Scat Pack 3 badges. The Scat Pack 3 kit — as with Scat Pack 1 and 2 — boosts performance while maintaining the factory warranty."

Finally, Dodge has lowered the altitude and raised the attitude of this unique canyon carver with a concept Mopar suspension kit.

If there ever was a muscle car for all seasons, this would be it. With space enough for the entire family, the security of all-wheel drive and all the style and performance that we expect from Mopar, this certainly would sell well if Dodge put this as an option on their order sheets for customers.
