Watch This Upset Napa Resident Confront A Reckless Teenage Driver
By Paulo Acoba
Sometimes freshly minted drivers need to be reminded that driving is a privilege and not a right.
Update– Before the video was taken down by youtube, the guy who uploaded that video gave a small update.
We’ve also replaced the youtube video with a mirror of the original below.
“The police are involved and are pursuing charges. The driver was kicked out of the high school he attends after the Dean of Students saw the video and also because the driver continued to state his claims that I molested him, which were proven false by this video, the dashcam video and also the two passengers in the vehicle also stated that I never touched the driver. However, because he continued to insist he did, the school had no choice but to file a report with Child Protective Services, then, on the basis of making those false allegations he was kicked out of the school and criminal charges are being filed. Charges are also being filed regarding his driving.
I would like to note that someone in these comments stated to send an email to fsilva who is the principle of Browns Valley Elementary. These students do not attend Browns Valley Elementary, so there is no need to email Mr. Silva. Again, the police are involved, many statements have been taken from multiple eye witness accounts of the driver’s numerous traffic violations. I was just the first person to capture him on video. He has been terrorizing our neighborhoods for over a month with his reckless driving. Crossing double yellow lines to pass vehicles, never stopping at a stop sign, driving 20+mpg over the speed limit, blowing through cross-walks when there are dozens of kids present crossing streets and riding bikes and waiting for buses. It was only a matter of time before he killed or injured someone (possibly himself).”
Update 3- The original video taken down by Youtube has been reinstated. Just in case it goes down again, we’ve linked a mirror video here.
Update 4- The original video has been made private but we’ve put back the mirrored video below.
When you gain a reputation in the local community for driving by elementary schools past the legal speed limit, blasting through stop signs, and repeating that sort of reckless driving day in and day out, your actions will eventually catch up to you. Earlier last week (Nov. 5, 2015) one Napa resident was fed up with this drivers clearly wanton disregard for the law and took matters into his own hands by filming the imp as he was parked on the side of a road. Check out that video below.

For the most part, the driver was somewhat apologetic about the whole incident and offered his apologies but we got a feeling he was just listening and apologizing politely to look good for the camera after he heard that police were going to be sent the video.
He finally shows his true colors when the driver tries to flip the story and accuses the filmer for molesting him claiming that at one point he was touched when clearly the whole time we see nothing of that happening.
We’re not sure entirely sure about all the details of this driver’s brazen disregard for the law but surely he had to be doing this on a regular basis to warrant such an uproar from the local community.
Driving is a responsibility not to be taken lightly and if you’re going to act like a hoon, you’d better be doing it on an enclosed track or in the middle of nowhere.
As for this generation of drivers all too distracted and coddled by modern driving aids, something needs to be done to foster a responsible driving culture to ensure our next generation of drivers won’t be a liability around everyone else.
