This Toyota Hilux 6×6 Is An Affordable Off-Roading Monster

Bulgarian Tuner Vromos has released a specially modified Toyota Hilux with special 6×6 configuration.
The Mercedes-Benz AMG C63 6×6 is a piece of modern engineering that’s not only rugged as an off-road vehicle but also one of the most expensive Mercedes SUV’s you can buy making it the vehicle of choice for extremely wealthy middle easterners or rap stars. If you don’t feel like shelling out $600,000 for a Merc’, this Bulgarian made Hilux 6×6 by Vromos will do the trick quite nicely.
According to our Motoring friends over at Paul Tan Automotive on their piece earlier Monday these Bulgarian off-roading specialists had the task of extending the truck’s frame to fit the additional axles and extra differentials. This all new Hilux also sports an upgraded suspension package as well as wheels and tires ready to tackle any off-road adventure anyone might through its way.

And it’s not exactly poor man’s spec inside either as this Hilux has been sent to a the interior specialists over at Overdrive to throw in a couple of electrical seats from a Land Cruiser as well as wrap any and all visible surfaces with leather and Alcantara. That means the door panels, center console and dashboard have been given this refined touch.
If you were wondering, the advantages of a 6×6 as opposed to a regular 4×4 include better load-carrying capacity and more traction in real tough spots off-road where regular 4×4’s would most likely flounder. But with these advantages come many disadvantages including a more complicated suspension design, higher maintenance thanks to an extra prop shaft, differential, brakes and hub as well as losing overall agility and maneuverability.
