Real Life Grand Theft Auto Accident Captured On Dashcam In South Korea
By Paulo Acoba
A Grand Theft Auto Style accident was filmed on dashcam somewhere in South Korea except this isn’t a video game.
With the introduction of dashcams to the greater consumer market, it was only a matter of time before videos of all kinds of car accidents started to hit the web. We’ve already seen our fair share of meteorites falling from the sky in Russia to streets seemingly disappearing underneath the wheels of car. But never have we come across a video so strange that it promptly caught our attention. According to our motoring Italian friends from OmniAuto, we caught a first hand glimpse at what appears to be either a mechanical or driving error happening right before our eyes. Take a look at the video below and decide for yourself if its a case of a stuck pedal or something more serious.

What marks this incident as strange is we really can’t pinpoint just exactly why such an accident would take place. A stuck accelerator pedal would at least get the driver to stomp on his brake pedal and steer clear of traffic in an effort to avoid an accident. If it was an apparent suicide by vehicle, the actions of the driver would’ve been more deliberate. What we suspect is that the driver suffered some sort of stroke or heart attack and was unable to control his body movements to control his car.
It’s an unfortunate event and although there was major carnage that happened along the way, it does look like no one was seriously injured or hurt at first glance. The time stamp on the video does say this took place in 2012 so we wonder why it took so long to upload the film onto YouTube.
