Watch This Pagani Huayra Being Washed In The Worst Way Possible
By Paulo Acoba
At the end of the day a $1.3 million Pagani Huayra is meant to be enjoyed and that means washing it the wrong way because…why not?
With only 100 Pagani Huayras ever made you’d think the owner of one would go the whole nine yards in making sure that something as simple as a car wash would be handled as professionally as possible. But not when it comes to Brett David and his newly acquired Huayra as his friend and business partner Jason Cartledge on Instagram posted up a video of Brett washing his Pagani Huayra with no particular method. Check out that video below.

Car washing 101 dictates that at the very least the surface of the car you’re washing should be cool to the touch, the initial rinse should be from top to bottom, and the two bucket method for soaping should be used. None of this was observed with this supercar. Brett was spraying the pressure washer from bottom to top, someone was simultaneously soaping the car, it was in direct sunlight, and we could only spot one bucket.
Initially, some people called Brett out on the comments for using the wrong wash method, but at the end of the day, no one has control over how someone washes their car. A scan through Brett’s Instagram shows that not only a hard working individual but values actually putting a high strung supercar through its paces through the pastime that is racing so major bonus points as a gearhead from us.
And seeing as how the entire body is made from exposed carbon fiber with a clear coat, an improper wash isn’t exactly going to cause catastrophic damage.

So here’s to you Brett David for teaching us that it’s about enjoying your car more than anything and not having to nit-pick over the smallest of car care details. We hope to see you wring this Huayra out on the track soon.
