With Star Wars Episode 7 coming out this week arguably almost the entire internet is excited about the release of this new film. This F1 fan decided to put his own twist to Episode 7’s trailer.

The off-season for F1 is officially here but with the first race at Interlagos for the 2016 Formula 1 season but a mere three months away, many fans have already gotten excited for the upcoming season, as is tradition during the winter months. This F1 fan decided to put together his own trailer using Star Wars Episode 7’s soundtrack backing the visual. What results is an epic battle with Williams and Ferrari that is truly one of a kind. Take a look at this awesome video below.

Taking themes roughly from the 2015 Formula 1 season between Williams and Ferrari, the trailer follows the story of the Rebel Alliance portrayed as Williams and the dark side with Ferrari taking the bad guy role. Felipe Massa infamously signed with Willams after his stint with long-time partner Ferrari. Paired with Valteri Bottas, the two quickly garnered attention from F1 fans for stealing pole position from Mercedes during the 2014 season and for generally being that scrappy underdog amongst teams with larger budgets.

If you watch closely about 45 seconds in you’ll notice a shot of Michael Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel in quick succession with the words, “I will finish what you started” being said somehow hinting that in thist little universe, Darth Vader is Schumi and Vettel is episode 7’s Kylo Ren (the new Darth Lord. )

Intermixed are shots of F1 cars battling for position, from all manufacturers in a quasi track-side dog fight on the ground reminiscent of X-Wing and Tie-Fighters battling it out in the Star Wars films as we know them.
