Crowmod Runs 4.36 In The 1/8th Mile In Preparation For Lights Out 7
By Paulo Acoba
Murder Nova and Big Chief’s CrowMod were at Texas 1/8th mile track in preparation for a bigger race this coming weekend.
It’s been a long time coming, but it looks like Justin ‘Big Chief’ Sherer and his Pontiac LeMans CrowMod are finally dialed in ready for a bigger race. According to RandTx off of YouTube earlier this weekend, both CrowMod and Murder Nova from OKC’s Street Outlaws were caught on video lighting up the tires at a 1/8th mile track. Both Murder Nova and CrowMod put down some respectable times. Check out their videos below and let us know what you think about these real-deal drag cars in the comments below.

Both Murder Nova and Big Chief are headed out to South Georgia Motorsports Park for Lights Out 7!, one of the biggest season openers for the drag racing community in that part of the United States. Dubbed the World Series of Small Tire Racing, both these drag racers from OKC will have their hands full going against the best in the nation.
From the looks of their first test passes, both cars hook up pretty well and run consistently. The CrowMod’s 60 ft. could use a little work, but we assume Shawn’s taking it easy before going all out. You can’t expect either of them to show their full hand before race day.
Murder Nova, at least, will be running in the Pro 275 class meaning there’s a specific tire size (amongst other rules) that they’re allowed to run.

You’ve got to hand it to either of them. Unlike other car shows with little to no racing, these boys from Street Outlaws are all go with a bit of show.
