By Paulo Acoba
A 2017 Acura NSX in Berlina Black showed up at Jay Leno’s Garage.
To say it’s been a long time coming for a brand new second generation Acura NSX to roll into Jay Leno’s Garage would be a massive understatement. Jay Leno admitted to the camera it’s been five long years since he shot that first NSX commercial with Jerry Seinfeld back in 2011. But it looks like it was worth the wait. According to Jay Leno’s Garage’s official You Tube on their upload earlier Monday, lead exterior designer Michelle Christensen and Project manager and lead engineer Ted Klaus stopped in to showcase the fruits of the labor. You can check out the full 33-minute video below.
The video was chock full of information and half an hour went by in the blink of an eye. Here are 30 things we learned about the NSX project and the new 2017 Acura NSX while we watched. Some of this information may be common knowledge or already exist in press releases, but it’s always fun to be reminded of these little tidbits nonetheless.
