Former Batman Adam West Is Selling His 2007 Porsche Cayman
By Paulo Acoba
Adam West of Batman lore is selling his 2007 Porsche Cayman in Palm Springs.
Even superheroes use Craigslist to sell what they don’t need anymore. According to a Craigslist ad that popped up in Palm Springs earlier this week, it looks like the actor who formerly played Batman is looking to unload his 2007 Porsche Cayman for just $38,000. With just 16,060 miles on the odometer and a supposed 3,000 miles driven in the past four years, it looks like Mr. West hardly drove this car then for short trips or a couple of jaunts of (dare we say…crime fighting) around town. Check out a couple of exclusive photos from the sale below.

According to Car Gurus, the asking price on this Porsche Cayman is about $8,000 above fair market value. Similar Caymans of this mileage typically are asking for around $30,000. A quick look on the Craigslist ad itself doesn’t bandy around the celebrity factor on this Porsche. According to the ad,
"Here you go, 2 iconic figures in the world. Adam West the classic Batman and Porsche. Yes, you are right this is Adam West’s Porsche Cayman."
The ad even says that this is now a modern day bat mobile. We wouldn’t go that far ourselves, but we get what they’re trying to do.
The Porsche Cayman is at the end of the day, one of the cheapest Porsche’s you can buy. Don’t get us wrong, the Cayman is no slouch with its 2.7L flat six is plenty powerful with 241 HP and 201 lb-ft of torque, but it’s not mind-blowingly fast compared to some of the 911’s for sale.

If you’re a real fan of the original Batman himself, we’d see where you might pay a premium for such a sports car. But other than that, this Porsche doesn’t look like anything to particularly special in our book.
