. Auto Trader UK got a hold of some of the UK’s hottest new cars and took them on an extended test drive review. Each of the 10 drives is set up with a clever little story that is designed to inspire us to want to take these 10 vehicles out on a road trip for ourselves.

After the teaser, AT UK promised to release the full film documentary via there YouTube Channel on April 28th. Well as promised, the 36-minute documentary is out, and let me tell you that although it is a little long for an actual YouTube video, they really did a great in-depth review of some of the hottest hatchback’s available this year. Auto Trader UK claims that this is one of the biggest hot hatch comparison tests ever conducted on video, and features 10 sporty hatchbacks to include: the all-new Ford Focus RS, Honda Civic Type-R, Audi RS3, Mercedes-AMG A45, Volkswagen Golf R, Renault Sport Megane 275 Cup-S, Peugeot 308 GTI by Peugeot Sport 270, BMW 135i and Subaru Impreza WRX STI.

In the video, AT UK takes each vehicle through it’s gears on the road and on the track, reviewing a number of different considerations, including the cost of ownership, practicality (is this my daily driver or weekend track car), and overall driving experience, all ending in Auto Trader UK naming which vehicle they think deserves the title as being Britain’s best hot hatch.
