Aston Martin Vanquish S Red Arrows Edition Unveiled
Q by Aston Martin salutes the RAF Squadron with a special edition Aston Martin Vanquish S Red Arrows edition. Only 10 will be made and 9 of them will be sold.
The Q Branch in the world of 007 creates all the fancy gadgets and cars which Bond gets to destroy while he saves the world and flirts with the ladies. Q by Aston Martin may not be able to make an Aston Martin Vanquish “vanish”. But the Q by Aston Martin-Commission personalization service sure can turn the flagship car into a bespoke piece of automotive craftsmanship. The new Aston Martin Vanquish S Red Arrows edition is one such creation and it’s a tribute to the Royal Air Force’s aerobatic squadron.
The ultra-rare limited edition developed by the designers and craftspeople at Q by Aston Martin – Commission, was commissioned by Aston Martin Cambridge with only 9 cars being built and made available for sale. The number is significant since it’s the same as the number of performing aircraft in the Red Arrows squadron. Each car will come bearing the signature of its corresponding Red Arrows pilot. An additional car has been built to be donated to the RAF Benevolent Fund to benefit former service members and their families. It will be raffled off and you can buy the tickets right here.

Coated in the same Eclat Red shade as the BAE Hawk aircraft, with the white and blue carbon highlights, the Aston Martin Vanquish S Red Arrows edition looks spectacular. The Union Jack enamel wing badges on the front splitter’s either ends are an elegant reference to the flag design on the aircraft’s tail fin. The side strakes have “smoke trails” in white next to them and the carbon-fiber roof has the same “charge” motif which is present on the Red Arrows aircraft canopy. A titanium exhaust winds up the exterior package.
Interiors have received substantial and tasteful revisions to match the theme. The Pinewood green inserts are reminiscent of flight suits. Martin Baker Ejection Seat fabric wrap up the seats. Green webbing seat belts add to both aesthetics and safety. The Red Arrows emblem is embroidered on the seat back and the transmission tunnel is adorned with the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team logo. Special sill and engine inspection plates are in place to signify the car’s unique status.
Twin racing helmets in Red Arrows colors come bundled with the Aston Martin Vanquish S Red Arrows edition and can be stowed away in the rear seating area. Also part of the deal are racing suits, bomber jackets, luggage set, specially-designed car cover, Build Book, and a highly-detailed 1:18 scale model of the car.
