Chevrolet Impala Splits In Half In Horrific California Crash!
A Toyota Sequoia SUV rammed into a Chevrolet Impala, splitting the latter in half. It’s hard to believe that nobody died in this horrifying accident.
The crash took place near Cloverdale, California and the car in question was a previous-generation Chevrolet Impala. We have seen our share of social media updates on cars splitting in two during accidents. And it never seizes to shock and astonish us at the same time.
The sheer force required to make an automobile split into two must be more than enough to kill the unfortunate ones who happen to be in it at that point of time. Call it a miracle or not, but the latest incident involving the Chevrolet Impala being sliced into two resulted in injuries and not deaths.
The Press Democrat report on the May 14 incident mentions that the Chevrolet was driven by Apol Lansang, 26, who was headed south on Highway 101 when the crash occurred. A Toyota Sequoia SUV with 27-year old Kevin Fenty behind wheel came drifting into Lansang’s lane in the opposite direction before crashing into the Chevy sedan.
Somebody from Chevrolet has to take that Impala into a research center and find out how this happened.

The impact tore apart the entire passenger section of the Impala, hurling the detached section at the embankment by the side of the highway, leaving a trail of debris along the way. The front section and thankfully the driver’s area of the Impala were miraculously spared from Toyota’s front end. Lansang who was the only occupant in the car incurred minor injuries.
The same wasn’t the case with Fenty. The 27-year old was thrown out of the Toyota Sequoia on impact. Possibly because he missed the entire point of wearing a seatbelt. The front section of the burly SUV turned into a twisted mess of metal and plastic. And Fenty has sustained more serious injuries. The Press Democrat report also adds that drugs could be a reason for the reckless, high-speed driving which led to the crash.

Tom Bond, a retired Air Force ambulance driver was among the many road-users who were traveling along Highway 101 when the terrifying crash happened. The video above was filmed by him and he calls it the craziest thing he has ever seen.
We agree with you, Tom.
