BMW X5 M And X6 M Black Fire Editions Announced
BMW X5 M and X6 M Black Fire Editions endorse the dark side completely with that glossy Sapphire Black Metallic paint job leaving no space at all for any other colors.
There is hardly any room left for any other colors to make their presence felt on the bodies of the BMW X5 M and X6 M Black Fire Editions. Ok, the carbon-fiber mirror caps do get to stand out a bit amidst that ocean of black which envelopes the crossovers. All-black body, black kidney grille and the 21-inch forged M alloys painted in black, you got the idea.
The murdered-out treatment looks menacing on the Sports Activity Vehicle and on the Sports Activity Coupe. We dig it.
Inside, the monotony of full fine-grain Merino leather in black is broken by highlights in Mugello Red. The black and red treatment extends to the dashboard as well. On the very right side of the dashboard the Edition Black Fire logo for the respective car has been displayed prominently.

The interior trim is in a piano black finish and the headliner from BMW Individual comes in anthracite. Leather-wrapped steering wheel is standard. But you can always opt for the Alcantara-wrapped one if you wish to have a better grip than leather.
Mechanically, both Black Fire editions of the BMW X6 M and X 5M are identical to the standard versions, with the twin-turbocharged 4.4-litre engines producing 567 hp of power and 553 lb-ft of torque.
Performance figures continue to impress with the 0-62 mph dash happening in 4.2 seconds. Power is directed to all four wheels via an xDrive AWD system and an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
