You rarely get to see a Lamborghini Diablo being pushed to the level of losing its tail and then trying to drift thereafter. Here it is!

The video below was filmed by YouTuber, cvdzijden – Supercar Videos. The channel has some pretty cool videos. You may have to click subscribe for that after watching the video below. It was filmed during Petrolhead Events Spring Event and shows a Lamborghini Diablo trying hard to drift.

We must say that though this video hasn’t got anything insane and jaw-dropping in it, it actually managed to make us smile. As you can see, the owner is trying his best to make the Lambo lose its tail and then to keep it in sliding in the drift. But he just can’t seem to get it right. But the guy doesn’t seem to give up and repeatedly tries to master the slick move, only to attain moderate success.

There are a couple of things about this video worth pointing out. One, the stunt is not being carried out in a busy street or a quiet neighborhood where there are a dozen ways by which things can go wrong and a lot of innocent bystanders can get hurt.

This one is being done in a controlled environment and everyone who doesn’t want to take the risk of having an expensive supercar running over them is standing at a safe distance. So, top marks there.

But, there’s also the case of having a couple of drivers who may not be experts in drifting, try to pull that off together in the same space. That could also be the reason why our Lamborghini Diablo driver isn’t able to give his attempts all the effort that is needed. He may be pulling the punches to avoid ramming into the rest of drifting cars.

The Lamborghini Diablo is a classic and crashing that into an M-powered BMW or an AMG Mercedes-Benz is certainly not going to make our Lambo driver’s car maintenance bills look any better.

Our favorite moments from the video have to be ones where the Lamborghini Diablo spins out after pulling off a short drift. We aren’t being mean. But it looks adorable whenever that happens.
