Matthew McConaughey Advertises 2018 Lincoln Navigator
Matthew McConaughey is back in another ad spot, and this time he is behind the wheel of the all-new 2018 Lincoln Navigator.
It is almost common knowledge that Matthew McConaughey and Lincoln go together. If you haven’t seen any of his commercials, then you probably aren’t watching enough television – which may be a positive thing. Good news for those who have missed him, he is back in a new marketing campaign for the American automaker. This time, Ford put McConaughey in the driver’s seat of the redesigned 2018 Lincoln Navigator
The campaign is entitled “Perfect Rhythm” and first aired on Tursday with a 60-second clip posted on Lincoln’s social media platforms. A full television ad will air on January 1, 2018 during the College Football Playoff.

This commercial features the Oscar-winning actor pulling up to a railroad crossing, where he stops before the empty tracks. Although he doesn’t see the train, he feels it and begins to tap on his steering wheel in a catchy rhythm. This little skit he does reminds us of the tune he hummed in The Wolf of Wall Street.
Lincoln says the commercial perfectly portrays the times when everything comes together – from the railroad signal to lights and bells. The driver’s seat of the Navigator transforms into a stage and Matthew McConaughey plays behind the lead conductor: the train.
We think that although this commercial doesn’t feature humor, it does highlight the actor’s intrigue – especially when he does that iconic smirk before continuing on his way.
