Smog Laws Can Me Modified For The Better

This windfall bill, a great reprieve from the current anti-gasoline legislation and smog laws we’ve seen too much of, is awaiting consideration by the Assembly Transportation Committee.

This isn’t a dig on electric cars or hybrids. It isn’t intended to promote the unnecessary killing of the ozone layer. It’s a resistance to discrimination against an American legacy. The criminalization of classic automotive enthusiasm, a hobby enjoyed by millions, is an attack on your basic rights as Americans to express yourself; it’s an attack on your constitutional rights to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.

More from Art of Gears

The Declaration of Independence is pretty clear on this one, and a widespread awareness is critical to making your voice heard!

We Want YOU!

THIS ISN”T ONLY FOR CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS. This is a call to action for the entire nation. Make your voice heard; for Californa is the leading edge of innovation. What happens here, filters down to the rest of the contiguous United States, eventually. Let them know they can’t take your beloved classics of the road without a fight! Let them know United we Stand!

This is potentially the biggest win we’ve seen in decades from a legislative viewpoint. Finally, we’re being recognized as a valuable component of society, one that contributes in a positive way to the unique and diverse culture that makes this country so great!
