The SSC Tuatara Is Attempting To Break The Speed Record
When you a small fish in the big sea it’s normally hard to survive. This is exactly the case for SSC North America and their supercar the SSC Tuatara.
Team SSC have fought the good fight, and quite frankly did it with ease. Their first super make has made so much noise it hit the top of the list of what’s trying to be achieved here with their second and next model, the SSC Tuatara.
Go huge or go home. Don’t fool around with playing it safe, cause what’s life without risk if you ant take one? That’s the saying and it has never applied more to a supercar than it does with SSC North America and their second bred road eater.
Predecessor – The SSC Ultimate Aero (256 MPH)
Once the fastest car in the world, now ranked fifth fastest all-time. Ranking amongst some of the best and more prolific, well-established super and megacars out there.
Fifth only to the 9FF GT9 (257 MPH), Bugatti Veyron (268 MPH), Hennessey Venom GT (270 MPH) and Koenigsegg Agera R – megacar (273 MPH), respectively.
Now they will challenge once again with the newcomer, the SSC Tuatara.

With what we can hear and see, it’s about to give them a run for their money. They are looking to be the first production company to push past the 300 mph speed barrier. If they do this, they will place themselves with the most prestigious supercars ever made for the second time in a row.
Currently, child’s play for them at the moment.
We talking cars like the LaFerrari, the McLaren F1, and others that increase in value when they age like fine wine. There’s only one customer who owns the SSC Tuatara because there was only one produced. To help them achieve this they’ve fitted it with a 6.9 L twin-turbocharged V8 engine.
The weight to power ratio is spot on. One is to one, has never sounded so brutal. It took a team of 25 to design their second coming. All parts, interior to the exterior has been made in-house by the SSC North America company.
That’s beyond impressive considering how many car companies are running under one brand nowadays. I’m ready for this sprint. Do you think they will break the 300 mph speed barrier?
