Toni Breidinger is poised to become the first Arabic-American woman to drive in a national NASCAR series.
Breidinger recently signed with Young’s Motorsports and will run a limited NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and ARCA Menards Series schedule in 2021. Her first race of the 2021 ARCA season will be at Daytona International Speedway on February 13, 2021. She previously drove in the ARCA Menard Series in 2018, she ran three races and had one top-10 finish that season.
“We are thrilled to add Toni Breidinger to our Young’s Motorsports portfolio in 2021,” said Young’s Motorsports team principal Tyler Young. “She is not only motivated but determined to make her season a successful one. We know that she can go to Daytona next week and be competitive and contend to become the first ARCA Menards Series national series female winner.”
In the ARCA Menards Series she will drive the No. 02 Young’s Motorsports Chevrolet and the No. 82 Chevrolet Silverado in the NCWTS. Her 2021 racing schedule is being hammered out and will be announced at a later date.
Breidinger is a star on the rise.
She began racing go-karts at the age of nine. From 2014-16 she ran in the USAC Speed2 Western Pavement Midget Series and was the 2016 series champion. Breidinger is the all-time winningest female driver in USAC history after tallying 19-wins.
With Daytona on the imminent horizon Breidinger is focused on the high velocity speedway in her NASCAR Camping Truck Series debut.
“Daytona is going to be the biggest race of my career,” Breidinger said. “But I’m ready for it.”
