I. “The Grand Tour”

After the demise of “Top Gear” I was bummed but after the news that Amazon was developing a car series with Clarkson, Hammond and May I got excited. But I was also curious how their new show would play out:

Would it be “Top Gear” knockoff?

Like how Beady Eye is ultimately a knock off of Oasis and just not as good, despite keeping most of the personnel in place.

Could the magic be replicated from BBC to Amazon?

They pulled it off and switching from a studio based format to short films was a great move. The trio have the same vibe and watching them was like seeing old friends hanging out. They know and care about each other but no subject is sacred to poke fun at between them.
