Is the BMW E46 back in purchasing demand?

The BMW E46 is definitely one of the most best-looking vehicles on the market, the vehicle was also made the base racing car in the racing game Need for Speed. Manufactured by the German automaker, this series is back in demand and making a comeback on the roads in the United Kingdom.

A standard BMW E46 325i can cost anywhere between £3000 to £5000 depending on the spec and mileage. This 4-door sedan model can accelerate from 0-60 in 6.7 seconds and has a top speed of 152mph. The top spec models can come with heated leather seats, parking sensors, satellite navigation which can also be used to watch live tv channels whilst stationary.

A major upgrade in the world was when BMW introduced the E46 M3 which is a high performance, powerful model of the regular standard E46. The price of a 2003-2006 can cost anywhere from £15,000 to £23,000. Recently, the E46 M3 is becoming popular again with people that want to own a high-performance vehicle but also want to own a piece of BMW history. This model comes with a 6-speed manual gearbox, navigation systems and also a camera activated on screen when reversing.

The M3 was first manufactured as a coupe model, however after the launch of the vehicle and high demand, BMW introduced the E46 M3 as a convertible model. During 2000 to 2006, BMW had sold 85,000 units which made is one the most successful vehicles to be sold on the market.

The car is available as a soft top fabric or hard top shell. With a sleek body design and a 6- cylinder 3.2 litre hand-built engine, this powerful sports car can accelerate from 0-60mph in in 4.5 seconds and 0-100mph in 11.2 seconds.

As mentioned above the M3 was also heavily featured in Need for Speed: Most Wanted as a GTR model with a V8 engine. M sport BMW’s have also been featured in major Hollywood films that put the car back into the present time. The speed, handling and performance is loved by many and the demand to own one is increasing. A good E46 with no faults is hard to find as this series is more than 20 years old so be careful and check your vehicle to make sure it is in good condition before purchasing.
