Less than 24 hours after his ’72 Pontiac was totaled, Justin “Big Chief” Shearer is already planning his next build…and it’s another Pontiac.
Next: Update 12/10/2015- Big Chief just unveiled his replacement to The Crow!!!
You’d think that after crushing two of your lumbar spinal discs, having your collarbone crushed as well and being completely beat up from being involved in a street racing accident the last thing you’d want to think about is climbing back into the drivers seat, but the Big Chief himself can’t wait. Earlier Monday (Nov. 16, 2015) Justin “Big Chief” Shearer was released from the hospital but by the way we saw him posting on facebook, you’d think he was in his garage wrenching away. Shearer also hinted at that his next build would be a Pontiac.

"I am scheduled to be released from the hospital today, and all I want to think about is the road ahead, fueled by all the great times behind me. Does the future have a new Crow in it? What car will it be? What combo? Where am I going to find the money for another top car? One thing is for sure……I ain’t done, and it will be a Pontiac."
We can’t blame him honestly for thinking about racing so much. According to his closest friends, Justin has been around the Oklahoma Street Racing scene since he was just nine-years-old.
And seven years later is when he finally bought his beloved 1969 Pontiac LeMans, the same one he crashed this weekend. Most marriages don’t even last as long as the relationship the Chief’s had with his car.

And as for that combo he’s thinking of, how else can you top a 488 cubic inch Pontiac engine with 88 trim twin-turbos? We’ll be chomping at the bit to see what he has in store. Get well soon buddy.
