Bugatti Chiron Prototype Spotted Roaming Around Germany
By Paulo Acoba
It looks like the Bugatti Chiron made a brief appearance for a bit of benchmarking somewhere in Germany and its entourage was caught on Instagram.
When you’ve got more than 1500 HP and your caravan of cars includes other Bugattis and supercars for benchmarking purposes, it’s hard to roll through a tiny provincial town and not get noticed. Earlier Thursday Instagrammer and all around supercar enthusiast Tom Wolke got the surprise of his life to find the French-based supercar maker rolling through the city of Helmstedt, Germany with several other Bugattis and a Porsche 918 following close behind. Check out the video below and let us know what you think about this potential Porsche 918 slayer in the comments.

announced earlier this year that the Veyron successor project was in full swing

and most recently,
prototypes have been seen roaming around Italy sans camo
to the umbrage of Bugatti test drivers.

What we know so far is that these Frenchmen are gunning for upwards of 1,500 HP with 1,100 lb-ft from a fully revised W12 courtesy of upgraded turbochargers and the inclusion of a possible hybrid system. When all is said and done, a rumoured top speed of 288 MPH should be a walk in the park for the granddaddy of hypercars.
