Demand for the new 2017 Toyota Prius in Japan has been so strong that they’ve managed to rack up 100,000 orders in the month of Decemeber.

To say that the new Toyota Prius is selling well in Japan would be an understatement. There are some statistics on the buyers worth pointing out. For one, 80 percent of new Prius buyers are male with the average age hovering around 60 years and older. We’re curious to see how this older demographic will react to the Priuses sportier handling.
