BMW revealed details on its all-new 2017 BMW M760Li and it is one powerful and tech-laden BMW Grand Tourer.

BMW has upped the ante and taken its all-new 7-series and stuffed one serious engine underneath the hood. According to BMW earlier today, the M760Li xDrive will be the first car that will debut this 6.6L V12 tour-de-force. We already know that the 7-series is one technology-heavy car with all sorts of technology and innovative driver assistance features. But as Jalopnik put it, this particular 7-series would make Jason Statham proud.

First let’s get to that bruiser of an engine under the hood as honestly this is one of the only things worth mentioning about the M760Li. The tail of the tape pegs this 6.6L V12 coming in at 600 HP at 5,500 RPM and 590 lb-ft at a low 1,500 RPM. With a combined MPG of 24, it’s not exactly gulping down the fuel.

Thanks to M-performance TwinPower Turbo technology, BMW claims a 0-60 MPH in 3.9 seconds and with M Driver’s Package optioned out, a terminal velocity of 189 MPH is well within reach. All that power is routed through BMW’s 8-speed Steptronic (automatic.)

You’ll know that this 7-series is different from a standard one thanks to 20″ M light-allot wheels in special matte Cerium grey metallic. Out the rear is an M-Sport exhaust. That same Gray finish from the wheels can be found on the front kidney grille frame, along the front apron strip, on the door handles, air breathers, side door trim elements and trunk handle.

Inside, its  wood interior trims and high-gloss metallic mesh well with those deep carpets. Nappa leather around the seats, doors and armrests adds an elegant touch. The steering wheel in this M760Li is markedly different and more sporty than a standard 7-series steering wheel. Look for this wheel to be the basis for all 7-series steering wheels in the future.

Taking care of the handling is BMW’s new Executive Drive Pro suspension which uses two-axle air suspension systems in conjunction with Dynamic Damper Control for great handling and refined comfort.

BMW also dropped a V12 Excellence package that focuses more on comfort and luxury than performance.
