Crowmod Puts Down Faster Time: 4.101 At 182 MPH During Lights Out 7

Justin Shearer and his Crowmod put down an even faster time just for the fans.
You’ve got to hand it to Justin Shearer and his Crowmod because even though he was knocked out during the elimination rounds of Radial vs the World during Lights Out 7, he still wanted to run. Earlier today according to Dragstory.com on their results page, they let Big Chief and the Crowmod make one exhibition run as well as a heads up match against an import. Each time he went faster. Check out both those runs courtesy of some fine folks off of YouTube.
Earlier during the weekend, The Crowmod climbed his way through qualifying, throwing down some progressively faster times and ultimately ended up running 4.185 at 186 MPH on Saturday. Being knocked out meant no more runs except an Import Vs. Domestic run that would happen after Radial vs. The World Finals. Thanks to the race managers, they let Justin squeeze in an exhibition run before the elimination rounds and the Crowmod ended up running 4.13 at 182 MPH.
But the fun didn’t end there. As finals wrapped up for the night, the race organizers had another race lined up that pitted Import vs. Domestic. Challenging the Crowmod was Willie Lopez’s Monster Datsun with his boosted rotary. Unfortunatly, a treelight malfunction saw the Datsun “roll through the beams” with the Crowmod never leaving his lane. The Datsun ended up running 4.82 while the Crowmod ran his own race and bested his exhibition run, getting a 4.101 pass at 182 MPH.
