A Ford Mustang got on the gas a little early and crashed while leaving Cars And Coffee Chicago.

Cars and Coffee is supposed to be the classiest of weekend car meets with all the cars and little drama. Yet some people still make the inevitable exit leaving the show as a chance to show off.

And yet again, according to TK Auto Photography off of Instagram, a late model Ford Mustang decided to give it the beans a little too early resulting in him losing control and slamming into a Hyundai waiting to turn left. Check out the Instagram video below as well as two other angles off of other people who uploaded later on YouTube. Tell us what do you think meet organizers should do to prevent something like this from happening again in the comments below.

According to the video published by Prior Photos, a Pontiac GTO tried the exact same move only moments earlier except there was no car in his way to block his spinout.  And in the other video published by Cars of Chicagoland, the report of no injuries was the only bit of good news that came out of this mishap.

Literally hundreds of car meets happen around the United States every weekend with almost the exact same thing happening in at least a good percentage of those gatherings. And it seems there has been a rise as of late in the number of late model muscle cars stabbing the throttle a little too early and losing traction to their misfortune.

Sure the burnout is one of the most satisfying ways to gain a couple of whoops and hollers from those gathered along the sidewalk but it’s also one of the easiest ways to wipe out and be “that guy.”

If you have a hankering for a mean burnout it would behoove Cars and Coffee attendees to leave their shenanigans for an abandoned area of town. Gather round everyone else who would like to partake in these burnout cravings so at the very least innocent bystanders or vehicles won’t be involved.

It’s cliche to say, but it really is all fun and games until someone gets hurt.
