Focus RS RX Coming To Forza Horizon 3

Ford Performance announces the Ford Focus RS RX will be one of the featured vehicles in the upcoming Forza Horizon 3 winter expansion called Blizzard Mountain.

Ford Performance just made many of us eSports racing fans excited this week when they officially announced they would be featuring the 2016 Ford GYMKHANA 9 Focus RS RX in the upcoming Forza Horizon 3 Blizzard Mountain Expansion Pack.

The Blizzard Mountain Expansion will have racers leaving the unforgiving terrain of the Outback and throw them directly into a snowy winter playground just in time for the holiday season.

The game’s first expansion pack which drops on December 13th will focus primarily on winter mountain racing. The game will include new dynamic weather effects such as snow, ice, and even blizzards.

The expansion pack will also feature more than 50 race events and challenges, including new Hill Climb, Descent, and Blizzard race modes as well.

Blizzard Mountain will introduce seven new vehicles to the game including the Ford Focus RS RX and the 1965 Ford F-100 Flareside Abatti Racing Trophy Truck. Did we mention there is also a new hidden Barn Find to search for?

Since the game’s debut back in September, I have spent a lot of time enjoying Forza Horizon 3.

One of my favorite vehicles in the game is the Ford Focus RS. The RS is especially fun to drive with the Logitech race wheel because of the unique AWD setup.

I have been wondering if Ford Performance was ever going to add the RS RX in the game and can’t wait to take it for a spin through the new winter playground.

Players will be able to outfit all current vehicles in the game with a new snow tire upgrade.

This will allow players to take their current “go-to” vehicle racing in the expansion as well. I can already see some epic HALO drift videos in the near future!

The Blizzard Mountain Expansion for Forza Horizon 3 will be available as an add-on to the original game or as part of the Forza Horizon 3 Expansion Pass, which will give players two expansions for $34.99.

Owners of the Ultimate Edition receive a $10 discount on the Expansion Pass if purchased before the end of 2016.
