This week in “Epic Driving Fails”, a monumental moron flips his Range Rover while attempting to show-off his weak J-Turn skills.

We are being unapologetically rude in calling out the not-so-wise show-off behind the wheel of a Range Rover who thought, “Hey, this looks like a peaceful neighborhood. Maybe I should try to pull off a J-Turn here.”

A video has popped up on YouTube which shows the black SUV passing by, as the security camera in front of a house in the neighborhood records the whole mess which is about to unfold. After a couple of seconds a white Jeep passes by and barely moments after that, the titular black Range Rover reverses in to frame at high speed.

The driver flicks the steering to initiate the J-turn, throwing the SUV into a skid. Now here is where the chap behind the wheel completely misjudged a lot of things. To start with, the high center of gravity of the big, heavy Range Rover is not something which really likes stunts of this kind. It’s a big, tall barge on wheels. What was he expecting it to behave like? A low-slung sports car?

Then there is the part where the inclination of the driveway made its own minor changes in the equation the very moment the sliding Range Rover made its way off the asphalt and on to the concrete. One of the rear tires got a bit of the grass and the curb as well. All the necessary ingredients in a recipe for disaster.

As the Range Rover rolls over and comes to rest, there are lots of shattered glass and debris to clean up all around. And the SUV’s aftermarket speaker ended up in the driveway after its own movie stunt guy moment of crashing through the car’s rear windshield glass.

Next time, this guy should choose an abandoned area with even surfaces and of course, a car which is more suited for J-turns. That too when he finally manages to get over the embarrassment of having made a total fool out of himself and a wreck out of his expensive SUV.
