Watch A Toyota Celica Flip A RAV4 SUV And Create A Pile-Up
This Toyota Celica driver’s rash driving led to a flipped Toyota RAV4, a pickup truck with a smashed rear and a couple more cars and people with damages and injuries in that order.
This is coming in from Australia where a Toyota Celica driver got a bit too eager to reach his destination that he completely ignored all sense of judgement while driving. The result of his pedal-happy and miscalculated move on a freeway in Sydney was a pile-up of seven vehicles. A couple of people were injured in the crash as well.
The Daily Mail reports with a supplementing dash cam footage from a semi-truck, the news of the sports car rear-ending the mid-size SUV and leading a pretty bad pile-up on the M5 at Riverwood. The news site has also mentioned that the incident took place in the afternoon on June 22.
The video was uploaded to Dash Cam Owners Australia and shows how the Toyota Celica driver’s rash driving made a mess on the motorway. While trying to overtake the Toyota RAV4 in front of it, the Celica completely missed the mark and rear-ended it, which in turn flipped the SUV. The Celica crashed into a pickup truck parked by the side of the road to conclude its journey.

As for the RAV4, it rolled over and more cars crashed into it. The semi-truck from which the footage was taken wasn’t spared too, with the truck ramming into the sedan in front of it.
Two people were injured in the collision and had to be taken to the hospital. Both have been released. The cops are yet to take statements from the driver and no charges have been made so far.
Everything about this Toyota Celica driver’s overtaking maneuver was wrong. He must be grateful that none of the remaining road-users were seriously injured because of his incredibly pathetic driving skills which led to this accident.

On another note, had it not been for the median that separates the lanes, we would have been writing a post with much more number of cars in the pile-up and even, loss of life.
Drive safe.
