7-Year Old Kid’s Classic Ford Mustang Mach 1 Burnt By Vandals
The monumental sadist who torched a 7-year old disabled child’s classic Ford Mustang Mach 1 is officially the most disgusting person on the planet now.
Most of us have seen, heard and experienced vandalism in some capacity in our lives. We’re also aware of how vandals turn to cars most often to get whatever that they are getting from destroying another’s property. But this latest incident of property destruction saw a 7-year old kid’s favorite car, a classic 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 which he refers to by the pet name of “The Pumpkin” being burnt down.
The incident which took place in Springfield, Missouri was reported by KY3 News.
The car was parked on the driveway in front of the house and during the early hours of July 13, Thursday someone broke the passenger side glass and threw fireworks into the car. A neighbor saw the burning Mustang after some time. But by the time the family, neighbors and the fire department extinguished the inferno, most of the car was razed down.
So this just happened. At approximately 3:35 this morning, some disgusting piece of human feces threw fireworks through…

The car belonged to Nino Welcome, a 7-year old child who suffers from Lesch-Nyhan syndrome, which confines him to a wheelchair. Nino’s speech is also affected by the medical condition. And the boy had got the classic Mustang as a birthday gift from his grandfather in May.
Nino’s grandfather had fully restored the Mach 1 Mustang and Nino fell in love with the car. His family had got his wheelchair done in the same orange shade as the Mustang and before christening it “Mach 2”. The child had been listening to bedtime stories of him and the “Pumpkin” Mustang going on epic adventures since then.
We wish the criminal who did this heinous act, a rendezvous with someone by the name of John Wick.

Speaking to KY3 News, Nino’s father Brett said,
"It’s easily his most prized possession in the world. He loves it more than anything, except for his family. He talked about it every day,” Brett said. If he would meet a stranger, he would introduce himself and then tell them that he has a 1970 Mustang Mach One. That was almost how he defined himself."
He went on to add,
"Vandalism and things like that aren’t random to the people it impacts. It might be funny to throw fireworks into somebody’s vehicle but, when you destroy the happiness and the very thing that a disabled 7-year-old boy loves, it’s wicked. It’s disgusting."
A fund-raising initiative has been set on GoFundMe to support Nino and his family with the cumbersome task of restoring the 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 to its previous shape. The support that the initiative has received is tremendous as the campaign has collected close to $13,000 so far.
