The Audi Sport Performance Parts upgrades for the Audi TT and the Audi R8 make the cars look angrier. More of these packs to follow for other models.

Audi Sport Performance Parts has issued upgrade packs for the Audi TT and the R8. While both these cars are quite fast and quick already, these upgrades serve the purpose of lending some much-needed character to those otherwise-understated lines and mannerisms.

The upgrade packs comprise of revised suspension setups, exhausts as well as interior and exterior improvements.

Styling packs are essentially aero kits with the familiar fare of splitters, canards, diffusers, side skirts and those obligatory park bench-sized rear wings. Add a set of meaner-looking, black 20-inch alloys and these two cars look and feel a lot faster than they already are. The aero kit components for the Audi R8 are made of carbon-fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) and those for the Audi TT have been crafted from CFRP and plastic. Audi claims that these aero kits do a better job at creating more downforce.

Akrapovic d.d. – a specialist supplier of exhaust systems are the ones behind the new mufflers for both the TT and the R8. Interior revisions include Alcantara trim, multifunction steering wheel with a red 12 o’clock marking. Models equipped with the 7-speed S tronic gearbox will get CFRP paddle shifters.

The Audi TT’s upgrade pack has a couple more interesting features, like the optional hood with a large air vent. The TT upgrades list also features a CFRP strut cross brace inside, which replaces the rear seats, saves weight and provides torsional rigidity.
