Rezvani Tank Gets A Cheaper Variant Powered By V6 Motor

The Rezvani Tank has taken a step down from its V8 engine and $178,000 price tag. The target audience just got larger with the inclusion of a V6-engined variant.

I want to see the Rezvani Tank in the upcoming Fast and Furious spinoff starring The Rock and Jason Statham. The juggernaut SUV looks fabulous and yes, will fit Dwayne Johnson’s Luke Hobbs persona like a weighted-knuckle glove. Maybe the picture car coordinators are considering the mammoth SUV for the role already. We can always dream about that happening and keep our fingers crossed.

The V8-powered version of the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited-based Rezvani Tank has a 500 hp 6.4-liter HEMI engine and costs a whopping $178,000. That’s quite a lot of money for even some of the affluent folks who don’t mind shelling out on souped-up supercars and SUVs. But good news is here.

The latest update from Rezvani is that they are expanding the range in order to make the Tank accessible to more customers. Now how’s that possible, especially when you are creating an exotic off-roader which resembles a Hollywood sci-fi movie car? Well, they added one more variant and this one hasn’t got a V8 under that large hood. The new version in the lineup packs a V6 which returns 25 miles to the gallon.

Probably another 3.6-liter FCA unit, the V6’s 285 hp of power and 260 lb-ft of torque are more than adequate to keep the Rezvani Tank go about its daily chores of climbing mountains and intimidating small trucks. Priced at $146,000, it’s cheaper too, saving you a large sum of money that can be directed to customizing it with the various packages on offer.
