The world is in a state of era change and for cars, this change is about going from full gas man to EV the electric man.

The world of cars is changing and all are invited. However, this comes at price cause we all are well in tuned that nothing comes for free. Even if the energy we use to power up our lives one day will be free, sustainable energy, we will still have to pay for it.

If/when we are the ones inventing it, creating it, and maintaining it… We are still the ones who must pay the most for it. Life on the third rock from the sun.

Sadly, one reason for this is the cause of “hoggers”. That’s right electric hoggers! Something like a troll, just not on Lord of the Rings. The Guardian reported several days ago, those who choose to stop and charge at EV stations must not overstay their visit.

Should This Affect all EV Men?

Well, for now, it would with most to almost all the houses worldwide not suitable for home charging. This puts pressure on the pocket and a lot more on the consumer.

In the UK alone a big worry of how unsafe usage of home chargers being used for charging their EV has become a major concern. It’s not recommended to be utilising your everyday plug base or a conventional household extension lead on your EV but some do.

"Electric vehicle drivers at risk by charging from home mains supply. An inadequate public charging infrastructure for electric vehicles in the UK is forcing drivers to take risks by opting for highly dangerous alternatives at home, an electrical safety charity has warned.Three-quarters of those who resort to charging from their home mains supply using a domestic extension lead even admit to risky “daisy-chaining” – using multiple extension leads plugged into one another – to reach their car, according to a survey by Electrical Safety First. When This is solved!

Once more fitting chargers for electric cars are installed in the comfort of your home, this is a problem that will affect any EV man. The Hoggers have already made it a problem at charging points, now there are little to few infrastructures that support the global era change.

Though once there is more electrical support worldwide, it could become very hard to charge electric car owners for charging up.
