It’s the celebration of 25-years for all the RS models of Audi, the German brand that has gone from bang average to elite during this time.

When I think Audi A1, I think game-changer in small but powerful little city cars. What I really get from it, it gives me the feel of the modern-day Uno Turbo that was so popular on the street in my days when I was a nappy bottom.

Sadly for the Italian brand, the Germans don’t play around and gave the world this spunky little pocket rocket, the Audi A1. Move on some years and they’ve now come up with the Audi A1 Citycarver. The name is something to go by alone.

Sounds like they’ve just released the latest cutting knife fit only for a five-star Michelin chef… The Citycarver. Next Audi will be bringing the “WoodChopper” and the “MountainButcher” (just kidding, or am I).

It’s the world premiere of the Audi A1 Citycarver

The only A model with a Quattro front. As you can see it is fitted with the all-new Q-series octagon grill. A more aggressive look for the smallest Audi model has certainly given it a huge and appealing face lift.

It has been dubbed the “A1 Allroad” by Motor1 and the “lightly-crossovered Audi A1” by Top Gear. Why? All because of the new clearance height and what they expect Audi to hand customers with the standard purchase. A standard A1 with all the trimmings.

"Besides the extra ride height you get black plastic wheel arch extensions, new front and rear fascias (with two slots above the radiator grille, to the normal A1’s three) and different sills. Inside however, it’s standard A1 – meaning you can have Audi’s Virtual Cockpit paired with a 10.25in MMI display. Specs and prices haven’t been confirmed, but it looks as though the citycarver will come with bags of kit as standard. (via: TopGear.com)"
